Catene is a collection of tableware, tea and coffee sets, and home décor items featuring a pattern that recalls the magical decade during which our Studio reached new heights of unstoppable creativity. We are talking about the years between 1923 and 1933, when the great architect Gio Ponti was our artistic director and produced the countless designs that we have preserved in our archives all this time. Catene comes from this trove, from a now yellowed sheet of paper that still reveals the genius of an artist, the creator of an eternally contemporary style.
