Porcelain crafted in Manifattura Ginori – Italy
From 1923 to 1933, for ten incredible years, Gio Ponti was the artistic director of our Manifattura. Together with him we honed our instinct to pursue new horizons, without ever leaving behind our taste for the ancient and always allowing ourselves to be enchanted by the cultures of the orient. An instinct that carried us to victory alongside him, the Gran Prix at the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in Paris in 1925. A generative instinct that Gio Ponti Ginori 1735 cherishes to this day. During the ten incredible years in which Gio Ponti served as artistic director of the Studio, numerous designs came to life out of his irrepressible creativity. Among these are two in particular, both from 1926, which have left their mark in becoming iconic collections for the table as well as for Ginori 1735: let yourself be enchanted by the porcelain plates and all of the various objects from Labirinto and Catene.
