Reinterpreting the Colonna shape, the now iconic design of which won Giovanni Gariboldi the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award in 1954, Diva is an homage to the vibrant energy of 1950s design, the glamour of the era's silver screen divas, and the timelessness that is Italian coffee culture. Four unexpected pastel colors feature in the collection: Celeste, Giallo, Rosa and Verde, all enhanced by gold detailing that accentuates the understated forms. It is a versatile and dynamic collection designed to suit a variety of occasions and daily uses in ever-unique and original arrangements: the sugar bowl and lid can serve separately as a small bowl and saucer, while the salad bowl and accompanying platter may be put together to become a covered tureen. Finally, bread plates can be used as well for serving small cakes as part of the tea ritual.
