Vase "Tre Grazie" Liberty
Vaso Tre Grazie, vase, h cm 39 in 15 1/4, glazed porcelain and biscuit
The Three Graces vase and the Art Nouveau centrepiece are emblematic of the Manufactorys adherence to the aesthetic style of Art Nouveau. These works perfectly represent the artistic references of the period as well as Richard Ginoris interpretation of them. On the occasion of the Exhibition in Turin in 1902, the company renovated some pieces in the new style which continued to be a distinctive feature of their production until 1910, including the Tre Grazie vase. Tre Grazie vase stands out for the elegance of the moving figures represented on it, seemingly enrapt in their dance, that correspond to those on the poster designed by sculptor Leonardo Bistolfi for the Turin Exhibition.
