Passeggiata Archeologica
Passeggiata Archeologica motif represents Ginori’s classicism, evoking the style of the eighteenth-century.
The Prospettica orcino vase, re-edited by Ginori, is characterized by the illusionistic effect of the relief. Entirely hand-decorated, in decal, the ‘double cut’ technique is used in order to maintain the same thickness as the framing of the cells.
La Convesazione Classica
The motif in La Conversazione Classica represents allegorical figures alluding to the Arts, such as Music and Literature, in Art Deco style.
Donne e Architetture
The motif appearing on the Donne e Architetture vase is inspired by the female figures Gio Ponti created for the series, underlining the dialogue between the silhouettes and the complex architecture of ancient inspiration, in which we may recognise citations of the pyramids and of Roman monuments such as the Coliseum.
